Project Engineer
Mr. Taylor has more than eight years of extensive experience in acoustics, air quality and traffic engineering. He has been involved in all aspects of project management, research and development, mitigation design, and implementation thereafter. Mr. Taylor has both collaboratively and independently written numerous acoustical, air quality and traffic impact assessments. Additionally, he has a keen awareness of project economics and the vitality of cost effective mitigation methodologies. He is an experienced field acoustician with areas of specialization in architectural structural acoustics, operational noise classification, and habitat mitigation monitoring and reporting. Furthermore, Mr. Taylor is experienced in field data collection for both ambient traffic monitoring and air quality monitoring.
Mr. Taylor's technical capabilities include the use of various types of instrumentation including integrating sound level meters, global positioning systems (GPS), octave band analyzers, and image processing equipment. His experience with various software packages include the following programs: AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, SYNCRO 6.0, HCM2000 has worked with various prediction models including Caltrans Sound 32, TNM 2.5, CALINE, AERMOD.
